Apple or i Phone
iPhone is a piece
of equipment offered by Apple Inc. performing the task of a cell phone, MP3
player (iPod) and Instant Messenger, as it has been call by Apple Inc.
The iPhone Mobile was for the first time
introduce by Steve Jobs on January 9, 2007 at the Macworld exhibition in
San Francisco.
The ground-breaking solution in the iPhone was
to get rid of the traditional keyboard; instead, there is a touch screen which
is supported by the Multi-Touch technology. There is no stylus is needed; all
is operated with the use of a finger or multiple fingers. The Apple i Phone
enables wireless right of entry to the Internet via Wi-Fi and surfing the WWW
pages via Safari browser.
On June 28, just a day before the launch, Steve
Job make an announcement that every full-time and part-time worker of
Apple, employed for at least one year for the company, would get an apple Phone
for free of charge. Devices will be circulated in July 2007 when the demand declines.
The apple Phone was launch on June 29, 2007 in two versions - 4GB flash memory
for 499$ and 8GB flash memory for 599$. In addition to this, during the
purchase of this device one has to bring to a close a two-year subscription agreement
with AT&T. However, when the apple Phone's SIM Lock security was unlocked,
its cost fell at very rapid pace to 399$ for 8GB flash memory. by now a few
days before the launch long queue were formed in front of Apple and AT&T

* Canada: Rogers (launch scheduled at January
18, 2008)
Touch screen
The apple iPhone has a 3.5 inches (8.9 cm)
liquid crystal show (320 x 480 pixels) HVGA, acting as a touch screen that has
been shaped for the use with one finger or multiple fingers. No stylus is
needed nor it can be used, since the touch screen is not well-matched with it.
For the manuscript input, a virtual keyboard appear on the touch screen, but it
disappears when it is not been used. Moreover, the i Phone has a built-in spell-checker, extrapolative
word capabilities and a dynamic vocabulary that retains new phrases. The
predictive language capabilities have been incorporated with the keyboard so
that the consumer does not have to be entirely accurate when typing the text -
unwitting touch of the boundaries of the nearby lettering on the keyboard will
be corrected when probable.
The photos and web pages exaggeration is an
example of a multi-touch knowledge. With the intention of zoom photos or a web
page one has to put two fingers in the middle of the display and spread them
across diagonally, as if in fact stretching the image.
